Friday, June 30 - Monday 3, 2006 at the 12th Street Community Center.

The Kansas Amateur Softball Association (Kansas ASA or KASA) is a non profit organization, and incorporated as 501 (c) (3). We are a association member of the Amateur Softball Association of America (ASA|USA Softball) the National Governing Body of Softball.
Kansas Amateur Softball Association Objectives:

  • To promote, foster, encourage, and disseminate information concerning the amateur sport of softball.To train and educate persons of all ages regardless of age, sex, race, religion, national origin or ancestry as amateur softball players, coaches, and umpires.To sponsor, foster, and promote regularly scheduled and supervised softball games and tournaments for its members.To sponsor, foster and promote contests, outings and gatherings of amateur softball players, coaches, umpires, and those interested in becoming amateur softball members.To promote good sportsmanship and fellowship among its members, and to do all other acts and take all other actions consistent with these expressed purposes.
  • To educate and train in the proper skill of amateur softball play and rules of the game promoting, organizing, and conducting clinics, seminars, and training courses.

Kansas ASA offers Championship Tournaments in which teams may advance onto Regional and National Championship Play and sanctions more the one hundred (100) invitational tournaments in Men's, Women's, and Girls' Fast and Slow Pitch at various age and skill levels.Kansas ASA's current membership consists of approximately 1,500 Junior Olympic (youth) teams, 700 adult teams, and 500 umpires. This equates to approximately 31,000 softball players, coaches, and umpires.Kansas ASA Jurisdiction includes all counties in Kansas except Johnson and Wyandotte Counties which are a part of Metro Kansas City ASA.
